The Oliver Awards took place on Monday and Chefs Direct were there to sponsor the “Best Chef Catagory” which was won by Molly Payne. She won dispite stiff competition and more remarkabley Molly is only 20 years old! The evening was hosted by Nigel Barden,Yorkshireman, chef and businessman who is better known as the resident chef on Simon Mayo’s R2 drivetime show.
The evening was an amazing success and everyone enjoyed themselves dispite some sore heads the next morning!

The Oliver Awards celebrate the best form Yorkshire’s catering scene and around 400 guests will be attending the venue at Elland Road Stadium on March, 6th.

We were at the VW gathering at Harewood House over the weekend. It was amazing to see so many people and their prized VWs from all over the country.Harewood House is the perfect setting for this anual event and as we work with the event catering company who look after the Courtyard Cafe, we were on site to admire the hundreds of cars on display.
